Meathead's First Break Down!

Well, it was the first break down since I got the car.
It may have happened to one of the previous owners in
the first 200,000 miles of use. But now it happened
to me! As luck would usually have it, it happened very
close to home; about .1 mile away. My neighbor, Dave,
showed up with his pickup truck to push me out of traffic.
Within an hour or so, we had it fixed. The ignition coil
went bad. $30 for a coil and $12 for new points,
condensor and rotor and Meathead drives once again!



It's a shame I let my automobile warranty expire
or maybe it would have been covered!
